Talk about strange names for a porn site. Well, I take that back. Derpibooru isn’t a porn site at first glance. Actually, you won’t be able to turn this into an explicit site unless you have a registered account on it. But it’s not just the name of the site itself that’s weird; it’s the subject of the site as well. Yeah, if you took a look at DerpiBooru.org, then you know what you’re in for. That’s right; this place is all about art that has to do with My Little Pony. Now, I’ve never watched that show, and I know that there’s a huge community around it, but I just don’t see the appeal if I am to be completely honest with you.

Really weird pony porn

Perhaps I’ll understand it as we venture into DerpiBooru.org and check out everything that it has to offer us. Now, since you’re into pony porn (or at least I’m guessing that you are given that you clicked on this review), then I guess that you’re also into the show itself. If that’s the case, then you’ll have fun with DerpiBooru.org in more than just one way. First of all, you need to know that initially, this site is nothing more than a place where My Little Pony fans can come and post their fanart for all others to see. If that seems like something that you’d be into, then you should check out DerpiBooru.org just for the non-explicit part of it.

But if you’re more of a freak and enjoy watching explicit content and nothing but explicit content, then you’re in luck. DerpiBooru.org has plenty of art that was made by enthusiasts who are into the same weird shit that you’re into. It’s not easy to get to that kind of content, but once you’re there, you’ll definitely be able to tell why people like DerpiBooru.org so much in the first place. It’s not so easy to just get the right tags, and it took me a few tries with my account before I got only the hot stuff to show up. Otherwise, you’ll get plenty of this garbage fanart when all you’re looking for is some Applejack pussy getting rammed over and over again.

Explicit content requires registration

So, let’s say that you’re on DerpiBooru.org and want to see all the ho explicit content. How would you even go about doing that in the first place? First things first, you need to have an account. You need to register to even see any of the explicit content. Now, I know that you’re wondering whether the content itself is worth going through that kind of hassle, but I have to say that it is if you’re a fan of this kind of weird pony porn. But that’s not what we’re talking about right now. First, we need to do some tweaking to the interface so that we get nothing by pony porn posted on your homepage. That’s the end goal here, not the quality. We’ll worry about the quality later.

The thing you want to do in order to get DerpiBooru.org to show you nothing but hot artwork of ponies getting their hot pussies rammed by huge cocks (amongst other things that you’ll see on here) is you’ll want to click on the top-right dropdown menu where it says Default. There’s a button that you can click there to edit these views, and you can go ahead and select the 18+ and Explicit to get the homepage to show you nothing but hot goodness. Just make sure that you don’t accidentally click on the 18+ and Dark cause that’s just an entirely different rabbit hole which you just don’t want to go down, trust me. It’s some weird shit in there, even more bizarre than the pony porn.

Suggestible, Questionable, Explicit content

So, if you managed to click on all the right buttons, you’ll finally have the option to view these hot pony art pieces where they’re fucking each other and all that. Well, now you probably noticed that the thumbnails have been uncovered as well for the most part. Before you were using the 18+ version, DerpiBooru.org actually hid all the explicit content. And not all explicit content n here is created equal either. For example, there are some pictures which just show a little bit of explicit material. Actually, there’s nothing on these pictures which shows nudity. These pictures usually show off these hot ponies in some kind of skimpy outfit or some cute outfit instead.

This category of hot content is labeled as Suggestable. Then there’s the hotter content where you usually get a bit of nudity. Mostly it’s nip slips, and sometimes you might even get a full nude picture though those usually get labeled as something else which we’re getting to. For the medium-hot images, you have the Questionable label and an appropriate thumbnail cover to go along with it. Finally, for the hardcore hot content, which you can look at as straight-up porn content with ponies in it, you have the Explicit label. There’s nothing hotter than this, so if you see a picture with this label on it, then expect to see completely nude ponies having some sexy fun with their partners and so on. It’s basically porn for faggots if you ask me.

User interface needs makeover

Alright, alright, I might’ve gone a bit overboard with that, but I guess I have to at times to show you that I just wouldn’t find this kind of shit sexy at all. I’m just doing this for your sake, so you better be praising me for showing you that sites like DerpiBooru.org even exist in the first place. But now it’s time for me to rain on your parade a little bit because I’m about to talk about the design of DerpiBooru.org. And as you can imagine, I’m not happy with how this place looks. It’s a pretty dated design, and nothing is interesting about it if you ask me. The bright background certainly doesn’t help, and the washed-out blue color doesn’t either.

The graphics look a bit dated, and honestly, the interface is complicated to wrap your head around. Like there are so many different ways to see the content, but none of them seem useful. For example, there’s the gallery section on DerpiBooru.org, but every gallery with explicit content seems to have just one picture in it! The users are dumb fucks, I know, but DerpiBooru.org should’ve made it more clear what the gallery section is for in the first place. Then there are some other stupid things about the interface like the fact that it’s really hard to get a hold of some of the more important sorting mechanisms such as the top pictures of explicit material and so on. Everything just seems so complicated here.

Quality can be questionable

Finally, there’s the quality aspect to consider. I mean, when you register, you get to solve a little puzzle to prove you aren’t a robot, and it basically shows you some icons that represent different ponies, and even this thing is so low in resolution that it’s really hard to figure out what’s going on. So, with that being said, you can imagine that there’s a lot of garbage content to see on DerpiBooru.org as well. I wouldn’t say that it’s the worst content ever, but some of these fans just have no gift or talent when it comes to creating some of these images.

I mean, if you ask me, most of them should lay down the brush and concentrate on just watching the content. Then again, there are so many posts on here that even if just 10% was good content, you’d still have like tens or hundreds of thousands of pictures to go through. And I’d say that there are definitely some amazing pictures on here and you’ll see plenty of amazing art and content if you sort it according to the top posts and don’t sort it at random which is the default setting on DerpiBooru.org (and the only one when you scroll over the Browse tab).
