To tell you the truth, I kind of have a love-hate relationship with Reddit. On the one hand, there are some really cool communities to check out, some really fucking funny shit, it’s a great place to get the news, and there are some subreddits that are just chockfull of sexy amateur sluts posing nude or the best porn from across the web – all in one, easy to use, convenient location.

On the other hand, though, there is the fact that it can be a rather toxic place sometimes. Lots of “know it all” little kids trying to act like they know dick about shit when they clearly do not, a lot of bullshit fucking drama in the comments threads sometimes, it is a little too populated by gamer nerds and Trekkies, and it can be a little difficult to find exactly what you’re looking for at times. But, at the end of the day, your Reddit experience really depends mostly on which subreddits you spend time browsing.

I tend to go back and forth in my opinion of how useful Reddit can be for porn. Again, to a certain degree, it has a lot to do with the subreddit in question, sure, but at the same time, it just isn’t meant to be a porn site. Therefore, it is not setup, designed, or organized like one. Finding specified qualifications when it comes to what kind of girls you are into, for example, is nearly impossible to do. I mean, just try going to your favorite NSFW subreddit and typing in “brunette.” Sure, you’ll get some, but you will be missing out on the bulk of them. This is because Reddit’s search engine merely provides every post in a given subreddit that has the word “brunette” in it, as opposed to many porn sites these days, which use a complex system of tags and cross-referenced keywords, etc.

So, right off the bat, any subreddit is going to be relatively flawed when compared to most halfway decent porn sites. But what do you expect? Expecting Reddit to be the picture-perfect porn site is kind of like asking Brazzers to sell you a coffee maker. No, you dumb ass, you go to Amazon for that shit. Okay, okay, I know that that analogy is not the most accurate one I’ve ever made, whatever, but you get the point.

However, considering the fact that Reddit was never intended to be a porn site, it actually does a surprisingly good job at getting you what you need to get off sometimes. It’s one of the only non-porn sites out there, I would say, that you could fap to fruition on. Except, of course, maybe Victoria’s Secret or some shit like that. But, let’s be honest, VS is basically full of just softcore porn pics of lingerie you could buy for your wife to never look as hot as the model in. That is one of the great things about Reddit, it has a pretty solid user base (for the most part). And people tend to hold each other accountable pretty well.

I think one major part of this has to do with the whole karma system that Reddit put in place. This causes people to sort of police each other (along, of course, with moderators on each subreddit). People like to be gratified, though, and know that other users liked what they posted, so the karma system of upvotes and downvotes helps a lot with that. Also, the more recent advent of gifting people symbolic awards of gold and silver helps a lot to keep people in check, too. Nowadays, gold and silver awards are a coveted, nearly mythological and hallowed prize for a serious Redditor.

Interactive, Community-Oriented Amateur Pics/Vids

One of my all-time favorite NSFW subreddits to visit, though, is definitely r/gonewild. This is Reddit at its best, if you ask me. Similar to r/roastme and r/photoshopbattles, Gone Wild is one of the more interactive subreddits out there. Inspired by the old series that used to dominate late night TV commercials, Girls Gone Wild, in which hot young and inebriated coeds would flash their tits on film for t-shirts or partake in a little lesbionic intimacy with another hot young and drunk coed on film for, well, I guess just because they wanted to. I’m honestly not sure if the girls got paid or if the guy who started it simply capitalized on the fact that wasted horny young college girls will do just about anything if there’s excitement surrounding it. Either way, a legacy was left behind. One that the lovely ladies of Reddit have resurrected and continued on to this very day.

And that’s pretty much it. Everyone who participates knows the deal, and plenty of chicks pose topless, flash their asses, show their pussies, or showcase some before / after pics. It’s a beautiful thing, to be honest. Easily one of the best subreddits. One of the best things about it, I think, is just how active it is. I was actually shocked by how much activity it sees! It has 2 million members, and when I visited (around 5:00 PM, EST on a Wednesday), 10.6 thousand users were online. In the past hour alone, there were over 100 new posts. That’s fucking insane! And it seems like there’s a pretty constant stream of pictures being posted. People even post videos sometimes, too. I can’t even fathom how long it would take to scroll through every last one of them. Very possibly the rest of my life.

Beware of Dicks!

This subreddit has one major problem, though, at least if you’re a heterosexual man. There are tons of dicks to skim through as well. And there is no way to filter them out. So, that’s kind of a bummer. I mean, one way to go about ensuring that you won’t see any dicks, though, is to change your sorting setting to “hot” instead of “new.” I believe “hot” is the default anyway, so that helps. But, yeah, it does kind of suck that I can’t check out the photos based on how recently uploaded they were. Especially since plenty of sexy girls, for whatever reason, just don’t get the number of upvotes as others. Probably because most of the people voting are dudes that are just upvoting on the images that turn up on “hot,” so it creates kind of a difficult situation for freshly posted pics to rise up in the rankings.

Other than the problem of not being able to conduct a very thorough search on any subreddit and the dick problem, r/gonewild is a fantastic NSFW subreddit to check out. I think it would be a great one, too, to start on if you’re new to the world of NSFW Reddit. It will be a good gateway sub, I think. Mostly because it’s so active, the community is, for the most part, extremely positive and uplifting (you don’t see people being dickheads in the comments, especially not to the girls), and the chicks who post on it are A.) real amateur Reddit users, and B.) super fucking sexy.

That’s the other really awesome thing about this sub. With the number of girls who have posted on it over the years that it’s been around, it really increases your chances of possibly seeing a girl that you know naked. Which is always something that crosses my mind when I’m looking at amateur porn. Honestly, it is one of the allures of amateur porn in my opinion. We all have women in our lives who we know we will probably never see naked but would give our left nut to do so. No, I’m not talking about your mom, you fucking pervert. I’m talking about the unthinkably hot and chill girl who friend zoned you, the untouchable (but very fuckable) cheerleader from high school, that girl who lives in your apartment building that sometimes smiles at you when your paths cross in the hall. Any girl who you know is on Reddit, too, is fair game for possibly making an appearance on this sub. So, keep your eyes open … you never know!

All in all, r/gonewild is a fun, positive, sexy, inclusive, and fairly interactive NSFW subreddit. This is Reddit at its best, if you ask me. A community of people willing to get naked for one another and then help build up each other’s self-esteem? That is truly a beautiful thing. I don’t know about you, but I, for one, will definitely be subscribing. And Reddit is pretty anonymous as it is, so I won’t even have to worry about making an alternate account! I probably won’t be posting any dick pics, though, so, sorry to disappoint. But I’ll definitely be coming back to this sub, time and time again.
